OUR STORY
Akquire was born in the summer of 2015 from two things that have been a constant throughout my life: gaming and sports.
I’ve been around sports for as long as I can remember. From the age of three, my summers were spent playing football and baseball, while winters meant hockey and snowboarding. Somewhere in between, I found time for skateboarding, kayaking, dirt biking, and pretty much anything else that involved getting outside and doing something.
But when I wasn’t playing sports, I was gaming.
My love for gaming started on the NES and grew from there. For years, it was something I did for fun—until GoldenEye and Perfect Dark on the N64 changed that. Lunch periods quickly became four-player Slayer matches, occasionally resulting in us showing up five minutes late for class. Then one of my friends got an Xbox and Halo: Combat Evolved. That was it. After snowboarding, we’d haul out two TVs, run a ridiculously long Ethernet cable, and play 2v2 Halo until well past midnight.
As Halo 3 came around, gaming became more than just something I played. I became deeply involved in the competitive community through HaloCharts, Halo Council, and Beyond Entertainment, helping build and contribute to communities that I cared about. Halo has always held a special place for me, and it still does. I continue to play competitively today.
That history is the foundation of Akquire.
We understand what it means to care about your team, your gear, your identity, and the community around you. Whether you’re competing on a stage, stepping onto a field, hitting the ice, or just repping your team with your friends, we believe you should have gear that you’re genuinely proud to wear.
At Akquire, we’re constantly pushing ourselves to expand what we can offer while maintaining the level of customer service we believe people deserve. We’re not interested in simply putting a logo on a shirt and calling it a day. We want to build products, experiences, and relationships that keep people coming back.
Akquire is also a family business. The name itself is a combination of my children’s initials and our family name, so there’s a personal connection behind everything we do. We strive to make quality products, stand behind our work, and treat every customer like they matter—because they do. If something goes wrong, we’ll make it right. If there’s something we can do better, we want to hear it. Feedback isn’t something we tolerate; it’s how we improve.
We’re still pushing. Still building. Still learning. And we’re still doing this because we genuinely love the communities that got us here.
Stay Gnarly.

OUR VISION
To build Akquire into a brand that represents the communities we grew up in and the ones that are still taking shape.
We want to help teams of every kind look, feel, and compete like they belong—while continuing to push the boundaries of custom apparel and what a small, family-built business can accomplish.
Build good shit. Support good people. Keep pushing forward.
OUR MISSION
To create high-quality custom apparel backed by genuine, personal customer service.
We’re here to make team apparel better—from the products we offer and the way we work with customers, to the communities we help build. We listen, we adapt, and we continually push ourselves to offer more without losing the personal touch that comes from being a family business.
Whether you’re competing at the highest level or just getting together with friends, you deserve gear that represents who you are.
